Satish Gramodyog Sansthan (SGS) is a not-for-profit voluntary organization, established in 2004 by a collective of socially committed individuals from Gonda and Bahraich districts in Uttar Pradesh. Registered under the Societies Registration Act, SGS was born out of a shared vision to uplift the living standards of marginalized communities through sustainable, inclusive, and participatory development initiatives.
Over the past two decades, SGS has emerged as a grassroots organization actively working in diverse fields such as skill development, women empowerment, health awareness, education, livelihood generation, sanitation, and community development. Our programs are specially designed to benefit SC/ST, OBC, minorities, women, and youth—ensuring that no one is left behind in the journey towards social progress.
With a clear mission to improve the quality of life through targeted interventions, SGS partners with government agencies like DUDA, NSDC, NIESBUD, UPICO, and national missions like NULM, UPSDM, and Jal Jeevan Mission, to implement impactful projects across rural and urban settings.
We operate with a strong and professional team, a transparent governance system, and a dedicated board of directors. At our core, SGS believes in empowering communities from within by building their capacities, skills, and awareness, thereby enabling them to shape their own futures.
Our commitment is not just to deliver services, but to create lasting change that resonates across generations.
